Canada goldenrod, Solidago canadensis

Here is my candidate for national wildflower. Goldenrods grow in every state (not necessarily this one), and there is nothing like the show they put on in the fall. A field full of these is uniquely beautiful. Canada goldenrod grows in every state except AL, FL, GA, HI, LA, MS, and SC, and in all provinces of Canada. Ives Fen Preserve, Lenawee Co MI, 9/17/10.
