Boneset grows in damp open areas. It occurs to me that you don't have to get wet feet to see a lot of these wetland plants. Just stop along any roadside ditch. I noticed one of these go by on my way to the monkeyflowers the other day. They seem to be perfectly happy with all the traffic. And apparently enough pollinators survive the grills and windshields to keep them going. These flowers are typically more white. The purple stamen tubes can become redder and more prominent as they age.
