Tickseed sunflowers grow mostly in bogs and fens. Fens I understand. I'm in there a lot with them. I've carried around more than a few of their tickseeds. But bogs? These plants often grow head high. What critters go there and do that. I can't picture a deer navigating a bog. They would sink right in. Which all explains why you can see big dense patches of these where the seeds fall near their parents.
