creeping buttercup, Ranunculus repens

Things that creep are thought to be sneaky, and maybe not very nice. But not creeping wildflowers. Not even if they stretch out their ground hugging stems to creep into our gardens. Or our lawns? The spot I knew where this grew as a lawn weed is now just grass. Why add more chemicals to things to get rid of this? It really was nice, and certainly not creepy. This Eurasian buttercup now grows (or at least has grown) in every state except AZ, FL, GA, KS, LA, ND, NM, and OK, in all provinces except NT and NU, and on GL and SPM. Lenawee Co MI, 1/14/18.
