hedge mustard, Sisymbrium officinale

I've talked about giving up bridge. As a result of that game I've been poisoned, had my knee sprained, and been hit by a car. But good things happen too. One day when I got there early, I drove around downtown looking for weeds to shoot. In an alley I found a lot of hedge mustard. This Eurasian is now a common plant in most of the world. Just because of the luck of the draw, a good chance to shoot it had eluded me. So here we are, my best hedge mustard shot, and this time you can see it! The background is a newly planted phone pole. Hedge mustard has been reported from every state and province except AZ, NT, NU, and SK. Lenawee Co MI, 6/27/17.
