These bellworts bloom in mid spring. The flowers are about an inch and a half long, hanging on a foot and a half plant. They're kind of a shy flower, often partly hidden among the leaves. The color is often a little washed out. Some plants, particularly those available for gardens often have brighter yellow flowers.
