goatweed, Capraria biflora

This goatweed was only a couple feet tall, if that, and I assumed it was just another small herb. While looking it up for this item, I learned it is a tree. Most trees don't bloom when they are this small. And there you have the only interesting thing I found about it. Unless you count the apparently stray phrase in one item that says this plant has no children. I didn't find out what relationship it might have with goats. The flowers are about a half inch, and appear in south FL and TX, and south from there. Monroe Co FL, 3/21/16.
