baby blue eyes, Nemophila menziesii
Baby blue eyes are a low growing species with flowers a little over a half inch. Named baby because they're small and cute? Not so cute that the Kawaiisu Indians don't feed it to their cattle.
These blue eyes are an occasional garden plant. Alaska and Mississippi collections are garden escapes. Native to CA, NV, OR, and WY. My garden, 6/15/16.
