changing forget-me-not, Myosotis discolor

First it's discolor, then it's datcolor. The yellow flowers are at the end of the curling spike. The older lower flower is the changeling. These are tiny little things, the flowers about an eighth of an inch across. Sometimes the new flowers are white. Any number of species in the borage family can change from pink buds to blue flowers, including true forget-me-nots. This is the only one I know of that starts with yellow or white. Changing, or blue-and-yellow forget-me-not started in Europe, and has now been found wild in AL, AR, CA, DE, GA, HI, ID, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, VA, WA, WI, BC, NS, ON, and QC. Hocking Co OH, 5/16/13.
