roundleaf serviceberry, Amelanchier sanguinea
Roundleaf? Not particularly. It's the fewer, larger teeth on the leaves that set this one apart. It is most common in the Great Lakes drainage, but you might find it in CT(E), GA, IL(E), IN, MA(S), ME, MI, MN, NC, ND, NH, NJ(E), NY, OH(E), PA(E), TN(T), VA, VT, WI, WV, NB, NF, NS, ON, PE, and QC(L). Wilderness State Park, Emmet Co MI, 6/1/11. Rose family, Rosaceae.
