The camphorweed moniker is indeed appropriate. Camphorweed contains camphor and a variety of other aromatic compounds. Research tells us aromatic plants that are easy to find and identify are the most likely to be used as medicine. But the initial search for info in that regard turned up bupkus. Farther inquiry that reached south of the border was more productive. There this plant becomes Mexican arnica. It is being marketed as a relief for a variety of ailments. It comes as tea, ointment, salve, or can be used for aromatherapy.
