The process involving plants and their ant farmers is myrmecochory. A list of these plants from Wildflowers of Georgia includes bloodroot, cow-wheat, Dutchman's-breeches, green-and-gold, heartleaf, hepatica, milkworts, purple dead-nettle, rue-anemone, spring beauty, squirrel corn, trailing arbutus, trilliums, trout lily, violets, Virginia bluebell, and wood poppy.
I had always assumed that wild ginger is beetle or fly pollinated. Many flowers with this color are. My search revealed many articles about pollination by fungus gnats. These have now been debunked. It turns out that wild ginger is almost exclusively self pollinated. The image is wild ginger leaves in early autumn. I think this is a fun shade garden ground cover.
