Here is a typical yellow flower of beach evening-primrose.  This is the first one of these I saw.  The leaves were lobed, and I had considerable difficulty identifying it.  The keys I was working with only worked well for unlobed individuals, which may be more typical.  Hillsborough Co FL, 1/24/13.
