Here's another view of largeflower false rosemary.  It may be false, but it shares the aroma and flavor of its namesake.  Other plants share its allelopathic abilities.  Two common examples are black walnuts and knapweed.  You may have noticed that plant cover changes when you are under a walnut.  Knapweed is such a problematic invasive species partly because of its ability to effectively inhibit native plants.
