In the immortal words of Roseanna Roseannadana, "Never mind".  Maybe.  I just discovered that a couple of authorities have Labrador tea back in the genus Ledum.  I'm not sure how to decide where the line should be placed between genera, and apparently I'm not alone.  At least Michigan has had a Rhody for a little while.

The Indians used the leaves for tea and medicine.  Labrador tea has also been used to flavor beer, but that is now banned.  The plant is toxic.  As if beer isn't?!
