I'm used to the idea of forcing bulbs.  It's common to see tulips and daffodils indoors in the winter.  But it surprised me to see a summer blooming plant from the rose family in bloom in a conservatory in February.  For that matter, I hadn't realized how extensively cultivated goat's-beard is.  It has even won the Royal Hulticultural Society's Award of Merit.  Way to go, Aruncus!
