Here's a typical Devil's beggar-ticks.  I try to always take my camera wherever I go.  You never know when you might want it.  Yesterday we were going downtown to the local art show.  Parking was full and we had to use a spot on the north side by a closed store.  The lot is neglected, and a little weedy.  Including the Devil's beggar-ticks with the showy strap flowers.  This is our most common species of Bidens, and in all the years they've been grabbing me, I've never seen one like that.
