I took a train to get to the graceful buttercup. The Durango and Silverton Railroad is a very nice ride. It's a scenic ride along the San Juan River to the old mining town. When you get there you can spend time in tourist traps, or walk the hills to see what you can. Always mindful of the train schedule. It was a good day, but I will confess to a little restricting too. You can't hit the brakes when you see a nice milkweed go by. Maybe it's safer that way. Hey guys, is that why we rode the train?
