White campions are common aliens, but not invasive. What's the difference? Think of salt. If you dump it all in one spot on your food, it spoils things. If you carefully scatter it around, yum! White campions scatter themselves in our fields and roadsides - scattered enough to do little harm to our native plants. They nicely season our wildflower experience. And unlike salt, enjoy one for a little while and it might lower your blood pressure.
