Here's the whole flowering head of a wrinkleleaf goldenrod. I've always enjoyed the far apart arching branches. They're kind of like tables set for the visiting pollinators. It's easy to fly in and pick a spot. Kind of like the old drive-ins with long rows of places to park radiating from the central building. They only lack ladybugs on roller skates.
