Did you notice that the lilac image was from a nature preserve? The volunteer crew found it while we were eradicating alien shrubs. We eventually cleared the invading bushes from all 700 acres. But lilacs remain. One wife entered a plea for a stay of execution. That patch of lilacs is still there, and I don't think any of us really onjects. Her lilac patch will always be a little nostalgic for us.
What about Nebraska and Nevada. Nebraska's goldenrod (also Kentucky's) has already been posted. Nevada's sagebrush remains a gap in this collection of flower images.
