Hidden Dangers of Botany

Anne sent this link to the Hidden Dangers of Botany.  Great funny fun!  (https://biologistsgarden.net/2016/11/05/the-hidden-dangers-of-botany/)  It's a great trip from ignorance to learning.

And yesterday I took such a trip.  Thanks to the Texas Board of Ed, I looked up Helen Keller.  I couldn't remember her teacher/companion's name; Anne Sullivan.  In one item I saw a picture of Ms. Keller holding a magnolia bloom.  So I wondered about blind people's perceptions of beauty.  Which led to looking up the psychology of beauty.  That search wound up in items about plant blindness.  Which takes us right back to the beginning of the Dangers of Botany.  So many wonderful thoughts, so much material for future blogs.  Or just start Googling!
