Here's a closer shot of the queen. The individual flowers are about 3/16 inch across. The little red bits are the ovaries. Some flowers have superior ovaries! That just means the ovaries are above the petals. Some are inferior, with petals at the top of the ovaries. Queen-of-the-prairie is in the rose family, which is inconsistent in that regard. Some species are inferior, some superior.
