More bright eyes

Eyebright is a small thing, with plants not above your ankles, and flowers hardly a quarter inch. I spotted them only because I stopped for something obvious, then pretty much stepped in them. This white form came first. They kind of do look like bright little eyes, and a close look can brighten your day.
