Greenbrier fruit Are among the many grape mimics. Virginia creeper, blue cohosh, moonseed, blueberries, buckthorn, and others all have berries that look like grapes. Yum, yum! At least as birds see it. It's a very good strategy for seed dispersal. But maybe they're all blue cohosh mimics? Why assume grapes, or maybe blueberries are the prototype, just because we eat those?
