Not ultimate as perfect, but as the end of a long pursuit. Wintergreen is one of my favorites, but a string of long coincidental failures meant this shot only happened last year. I do think it's a good example of close to perfection. The shape and texture are about as good as I can get them. The arrangement gives a good idea of how these delicate little flowers hang below the leaves. Even that triangular view of a sepal on the middle flower adds interest. With the shaded background, nothing detracts from the clear subject of the exercise. After all these years is this the end of the chase? Nah, I still munch on them any chance I get.
