Why mullein?

It was just suggested that we look at common mullein, but it had already been posted as a daily entry. Here it is again anyway. The request came from someone who was thinking about the big soft fuzzy leaves of this species. Someone who was apparently thinking of TP substitutes. Competition for the real stuff is fierce these days. As with most wild foods, there's a reason mullein leaves don't show up in the market. They're not very tough. But if you are a loser in the TP wars . . .
