At Ives

Hi, Cynthia! Two-flowered cynthia were blooming, in greater numbers than I've previously seen in the preserve. It's always fun to see a yellow plant in the aster family that's a different shade than expected. It doesn't show well here, but they're a little on the orange side of yellow. The two smaller yellow bits are star-grass. That was also in peak bloom, scattered among the grass and sedge.
