At Ives, carefully.

Poison ivy is also blooming now at Ives Preserve. I'm a little surprised this came out clearly. Bending over and twisting while shooting, making sure you don't touch, isn't the best way to take a picture. Got to appreciate this plant anyway. It's great at repopulating disturbed areas, and wildlife love the white berries. It also seems to be an indicator of the health of marriages. Long ago, a coworker hung a grapevine wreath on his door that his wife made him for Christmas. It had white berries. Not too long after that they divorced. Was there a connection?
