The site with the dwarfed vervain is also home to this false pennyroyal. This is threatened in Michigan. The habitat available at this site has been reduced about 80% since 1986. One part is farmed. They must use a ton of chemicals to get that corn to grow in that soil! Too much of the rest of the area is now choked with invasive buckthorn shrubs. The area remaining is gradually being covered with red cedar and invasive shrubs. Threatened indeed!
