Lakes grassleaf goldenrod

This goldenrod grows in the western Great Lakes area. There is little scientific agreement on what to call it. Most often it is considered a disjunct population of the eastern Euthamia caroliniana. But it also could be a variety of two other more western species, or a species in its own right. If the latter, then it may be Euthamia remota. There is currently a genome analysis of Euthamia underway that hopes to sort them out.
